Natura Gratia Program
We believe that when people form a deep connection with nature, recognizing it as an interconnected system in which humans are
a part—not separate from it—they naturally desire to care for both
the planet and themselves.
We invite you to join us on this journey toward a deeper, more interconnected understanding of nature. Together, let’s delve into the intricate web of life and uncover the meaningful connections that bind us to the beautiful world around us.
Program Outline
The Natura Gratia Program provides students with options in course selection, allowing them to truly embrace the vital environmental and ecological perspectives that enrich their daily lives. Our dedication as scholars, professionals, and passionate advocates for the land has inspired us to develop a program that links personal growth with professional development. This allows individuals like you to engage meaningfully in the healing and conserving our precious natural environment.
This dynamic program, offered online over 10 months, is taught by experienced educators excited to share their knowledge. They'll blend practical experiences and informative lessons, creating an enriching and enjoyable learning journey for everyone. Plus, participants in the Natura Gratia Initiative will have wonderful opportunities to attend specially designed retreats at Stone Lions Farm,
where you can connect with nature and fellow advocates.
Our Natura Gratia Program is designed for professionals looking to strengthen their connection with nature to enhance mutual
well-being.
Students will gain an embodied knowledge of environmental and ecological perspectives relevant to real-world endeavors. We have called upon our expertise as scholars, professionals, and lovers of the land to create an initiative designed to bridge the personal and the professional, preparing students for deep care and deep work in healing and protecting the natural world.
This program is perfect for anyone interested in developing a deeper relationship with themselves and our shifting environmental landscape.

The Natura Gratia program is both highly experiential and academically rigorous. It is founded on principles drawn from Deep Ecology, Ecopsychology, and Biophilia. We draw inspiration from influential educators, philosophers, and activists, such as Joanna Macy, E.O. Wilson, and Jane Goodall.
This 500-hour program lays the groundwork for achieving
harmony with the natural world
and empowering others to do the same. We recognize that activities like Forest Bathing, Equine Therapy, and even Goat Yoga
have gained popularity as ways
to engage with nature and improve well-being. But what do these activities truly entail? How can we genuinely make a difference?
Participants will be able to apply their training, skills, and unique talents to a broad array of employment directions, most notably within the health and wellness field.
