This engaging 10-month certificate program serves as a wonderful entry point into the intriguing realm of medicinal plants and their significance in addressing various diseases. As you embark on this journey, you’ll uncover both the rich history and the biochemical wonders of plant-based medicine and how it can enhance your personal health strategy. You’ll thoroughly explore each body system and discover which plants can support healing, all while learning from a wealth of ancient wisdom.

Program Outline

Our curriculum in the Traditional Asian Medicine program embraces traditional methods for crafting herbal remedies, including delightful techniques like decoctions, tinctures, poultices, and ointments. But it’s not just about preparation; we dive deep into both the philosophical and practical aspects of herbal guidance, focusing on the unique energy balance of each individual and the beautiful connections among the body, mind, and environment. In addition, students get to participate in our exciting research about the best growing conditions, harvesting, and preparing our very own in-house plant medicines. We truly value sustainable and ethical sourcing of herbs, honoring the ancient wisdom that encourages us to live harmoniously with nature.
