Natural Herbs
Plant Medicine and Herbs in Traditional Asian Medicine

In the realm of Traditional Asian Medicine, the art and science of using plant medicine and herbs play a pivotal role in healing and maintaining optimal health. Our curriculum offers an in-depth exploration of how various cultures across Asia have harnessed the power of nature to balance well-being and prevent illness. Students will learn about the identification, properties, and therapeutic applications of a wide array of herbs used in practices such as Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda, and Tibetan Medicine.

Our curriculum includes traditional methods of preparing herbal remedies, including decoctions, tinctures, poultices, and ointments. Beyond mere preparation, students are taught the philosophical and practical framework for herbal guidance, taking into account the individual's energy balance and the holistic interplay between the body, mind, and environment. Additionally, students will be able to participate with our research into optimal growing conditions, harvesting, and preparing our own in-house plant medicines. Our curriculum emphasizes sustainable and ethical sourcing of herbs and respecting the ancient wisdom that teaches us to live in harmony with nature.
