Becoming a student at The New England School of Bioenergetic Medicine (NESBEM)
At NESBEM we have a deep dedication to embodied and transformative learning. Our preference for program offering is to keep groups small and accessible, hearkening back to days of apprenticeship style education, where learning a new skill or practice was individualized and responsive. You will never find yourself in an overcrowded, impersonal classroom, even in our online learning environment. Rather you will have the opportunity for small group learning and practice, as well as, independent and one-on-one study.

Our goal and our commitment is facilitate the individual ability to become the best version of one’s self in order to contribute wisdom, compassion, and care within their communities and our society as a whole. It is our deep hope that individuals that participate in our programs become an answer to the need of the world – including the natural world and all of its non-human inhabitants.

The New England School for Bioenergetic Medicine as a campus is situated on an educational farm and over 300 acres of forest and field. This allows us the unique opportunity to be flexible with our options for learning and our tuition requirements.

Registration
There is an application process to register for our classes and programs. Because we are committed to such an individualized style of learning, we are also committed to knowing each of our students and participating fully with their ability to learn and transform. Much like a thriving living system, we believe the synergy of authentic learning is reciprocal, we will also be learning right alongside of you as such we go to great lengths to ensure that you are neither just a number or an indistinct face in a crowd of mass produced education.

Our registration process begins with filling out a form of intent. Upon receipt of that form, we will respond within 24 to 72 hours and schedule a meeting either in person if you are local, or via Zoom. Once that meeting has been completed, we will finalize the registration process and you will be able to begin your program.

Special Equipment for Massage and/or Energy Medicine
It is highly recommended that students purchase a massage table, yet is not necessary for successful completion of either program. There are numerous companies and websites that sell portable massage tables in a range of prices. The average cost for a massage table is between $100 - $500.

Students will need a face cradle and bolster for their out of class massage practice, a portable carrying case is also recommended.

Students need to have 2 sets of twin sized massage sheets for the first semester, and 2 more sets for the second semester (to be able to complete 4 consecutive practice sessions at the student clinic).

Details on the costs and how to purchase these items will be discussed in person at the beginning of the program.
